Richard Kun – BCom, CFP

Richard Kun started his career with a national accounting firm in 1980. Later, he was part of the financial management team with CTV for the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary. He began counseling individuals on wealth management issues over 15 years ago, and has worked with a number of leading institutions providing advisory services for personal financial management and private investments.

Attracted to the company’s unique business model, Richard joined Weigh House Investor Services in Toronto. He enjoys the opportunity to dispense ‘truly independent and unbiased advice’ that always puts clients’ best interests first.

Richard earned a bachelors degree in commerce (honours) from Carleton University in Ottawa. He has also completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Personal Financial Planning Course (PFPC). He is an accredited Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Richard maintains a very active family life. When not accompanying his four children on their many extracurricular activities, he enjoys golf, waterskiing and gardening. He is also a fundraiser for the Canadian Juvenile Diabetes Association and the United Way.
