NEIL mURPHY, CIM

Neil Murphy has been working with investors since 1992, as both an investment advisor and financial planner.  He has also taught many top performing financial advisors and planners across Canada.  Before joining Weigh House, he held a number of positions with some of the country’s largest financial institutions, and at one point developed financial planning software for a major Canadian bank.

Neil’s variety of experiences serves him well as he delivers Weigh House’s ‘client-first’ consulting services to individual investors, corporations, foundations, and not-for-profit organizations throughout Ontario.

Neil studied mechanical engineering at the Royal Military College of Canada before joining the financial services industry.  His professional credentials include the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation and the LLQP Life Insurance Qualification.  He earned a diploma in personal financial planning and completed the Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) level 1 curriculum.  Neil is an associate in the Institute of Canadian Bankers, and a former investment officer for the Durham Community foundation.  He continues to offer his time and financial expertise to charitable organizations in his community.
