John Home came to Weigh House Investor Services first as a client, and now serves as an Investor Consultant. His experiences at Weigh House reignited a long-time passion for investing and financial planning, using time-tested and fact-based approaches to wealth creation.
John’s background, experience and education enable him to deliver high value guidance to clients. Feedback from across the country has focussed on his ability to deliver the ‘big picture’ and also work through the detail, resulting in sound, practical recommendations for improving clients’ financial strategies and implementations.
John earned an honours degree in business from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1974. He has over 30 years of business experience with large corporations and small-to-mid sized organizations, including start-ups. His relevant functional experience in the areas of business planning, consulting and general management has resulted in several board appointments in both public and not-for-profit organizations. John has successfully completed all courses toward his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) accreditation.
